Born and raised in Southern California and now in DC, I have a decade of experience in relationship building, program and operations planning, and event management. Most recently, I’ve been able to apply my experiences to my passion for food, farming, and their intersection with environmental and social issues.

During my time at non-profits Martha’s Table and The Ecology Center, I developed and executed curriculum for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. This involved training and educating apprentices, young children, and community elders. I also worked in close collaboration with community partners, like-minded organizations, and executive leadership to increase access to healthy foods east of the Anacostia River. As head of the greenhouse and propagation department at the 28-acre Ecology Center organic farm, I oversaw the growth of seeds and seedlings, and helped initiate the opening of an onsite nursery space.

I am an energetic frontline advocate for food access for all. I have a graduate certificate in Sustainable Food Systems from Tufts University, I’m currently completing the hours to become a certified Master Gardener through the University of DC, and I recently received a Project Management certificate from Cornell University.
